Something that I have never seen before.

I picked up a male ball python in mid march, and not soon after I got him I started to see something developing in his eye. To me, it seems almost like the eye cap is broken exposing underneath. The edges of the dark eye cap are still visible but the center of the eye is bare and seems somewhat dull and silvery colored. Are my suspicions accurate? Is this potentially harmful? And could thios account for his reluctance to eat?

I have seen that too, but the snake that had that, Lori has now.
If I am remembering right, it cleared up in a shed or two.

YUP..That was DIAMOND. She had something like that and then after a couple of sheds it just went away. When it's the eye..preferable to NOT play around with it [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img] Sometimes a lil time can take care of the problem is all [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]
