Still can't tell completely. If you get us a picture of his body from above, so we can see all his main body coloration, we could tell better. From what I see, and I am no expert, it is either axanthic, or at least has a lot of reduced yellow, so could possibly be a starting point to selectively breeding a new axanthic line. I could be wrong though.

I had a ball python like that many years ago, some thought it was axanthic, others werent sure, but at times, the snakes color was a little lighter, and other times it seemed to darken up a bit.
so that made it very hard to tell.
It sure looks axanthic compared to that other bp.

Im getting a nikon coolpix 2500 next saturday i will take the overhead pix then. I finally got my scaletoday the beast weighed in at 1.980 grams. 372 grams for the other ball in the picture and 8 grams for my baby albino leo. I dont know why im posting their weights i guess im just happy that i finally know them . Also i know she isnt even close to breeding size but what is female breeding weight. And how long will it take me to saftly bring her to breeding weight (I severly appose to power feeding).

Looks axanthic to me but then ya never know a lot of WC's come in with that color. whats the length on that BP? I got a baby female that came in very, very bright orange color and now is going a gold color. my daughters BP was normal and now getting a lot of white color, the white from its belly is going up its sides..Cassies female baby BP has a real pretty light yellow solid stripe perfectly in the middle of its back going from tip of tail to almost mid body.. wish i had a dig cam to take some pics..

Maybe he hatched out of an axanthic clutch?? It's possible, right? Even if it's wc. I'm really not sure, it's just a guess, but I think he might have axanthic genes in him to have that much reduced yellow. When you get your new cam we might be able to distinguish his colors better. Nice snake and good luck!
