Re: Pictures of my Ball Python

about the price of feeders....i only pay 1.39 for my med rats, and only 2.35 for my jumbo rats for the big girl, but i also buy in bulk its so cheap to feed all our snakes

would your dad let you get a small freezer to keep in your room or something? that way you could buy in bulk and all those rats wont take up all the space in the "human food" freezer some of them are relatively inexpensive

I could probably do that.
I would have to see if she'll eat frozen first, though.
What would be the best way to do that?

I measured E.T. today with the help of my dad.
48 inches! My little girl is growing up so fast. I remember when
she could curl up in my hand.

Re: Pictures of my Ball Python

I guess you must be in your teens, right? Of course you should expect respect from your Dad, but I hope you respect him too. Try to get along with him especially since you are living in his house?

Your Ball Python looks amazing, and healthy!

Patience is the key word here. Wait and save, to get a bigger home for the BP before you think about another snake.

I keep all my snakes (BPs, Boas, Corn,) in glass fish tanks with mesh tops and they do fine - but I live in Jamaica where it's tropical heat & humidity so it's OK for them. I partially cover the mesh tops to retain the humidity and give them plenty of water, and mist when it seems called for.

Re: Pictures of my Ball Python

I'm 18. I do respect him, I just don't like spending $200 of my own money to buy him an
engine for his car, and him still call me irresponsible.

I have enough money for a cage, I just don't want to spend $150 on something I could get cheaper. My girlfriend says I'm cheap.

She looks a lot better in person.
My girlfriend doesn't really even care for snakes and she's starting
to like E.T.. Her temperament is great, really. I've seen people
describe their snakes as "puppy dogs," and I think that's accurate
for her, too.
