Ouch! - This hurt!

And we won't know what is causing the problem until Tuesday which means MORE vet bills.

holy frijole. outrageous... our reptile exams are only $46.... had x-rays and ultrasound done on a boa, total came to under $150.

I sure hope you find out what's wrong and get it fixed after all that!

This vet is outrageous with the fees.
Basically $300 to find out NOTHING!

Wow, my vet bill was only about $150 too.. for the exam, blood-test and meds for my boa when he had his RI.. that is insane!

Yep. Only vet within 100 miles that will even look at a snake.

$250+ is about what we pay but our vet is worth it. He sold me when I had to bring in my water monitor and he said if she is too dangerous to work on, I will not charge you. That honesty and willingness to lose fingers is hard to find.

This one would add some crazy surcharge if I brought in a potentially agressive animal.

They give NO price breaks at all. I once brought in 10 snakes at a time for a routine checkup since they were new CH babies. I was going to be charged the $63 exam fee for EACH snake. You want to see an irate client! That was me. I was fuming since they never mentioned the fee per snake would apply until I was there. I walked out and said forget it. I'll wait until a problem appears before I spend that kind of money on a basic exam.
