OH NO!! that sucks dude.. I'm sorry. I use hatchrite, but even though it says you never need to dampen it, I do.

I found out you do as well. A LOT! It still dries out super fast.
No more. Back to vermiculite.

I tried candling them. Difficult since they are still stuck together but the one in the front on the right actually has veins! I also added water to the medium again.

I would remix the medium, and see if they puff back out. Sometimes if they start denting due to dehydration, adding more water will straighten it out no problems. If the eggs dont get better then go ahead and slit them, but give them a couple days. Either way, letting them go or sliting early you dont have a great chance of saving the babies. good luck.

Dump some dampened vermiculite on top of them with just barely the top of the egg peeking out. You may be able to get them to absorb some more fluid that way before it's too late.
