So as some of you know, last night was a great night. My female, Lila, just gave me 5 beautiful, perfect eggs, 0 slugs, and 0 abnormalities. What a good girl!! She is super high in red coloring, super low in black. No known morph or anything, but she is absolutely the most beautiful normal I have ever seen.

She was bred to a pastel, so I am chewing my fingers down to nubs already in anticipation of seeing what she throws me!!!

ALL the eggs, according to candling, are alive, healthy, and robust. Way to go Lila! That's my girl!

Now... only 54 more days to go until I get to see what she gives me. *gnaw gnaw gnaw gnaw gnaw*

	Morph A morph is a color or pattern variation that is proven to be genetic. Common morphs include albino, anerythristic, gentically striped, Hypomelanistic, and many others. Morphs also include combinations of simple traits such as "Sunglow" which is Albino and Hypomelanistic. These traits may be recessive traits, co-dominant traits, dominant traits, or created through selective breeding (ie Pastel).

Oh I will... This is my second most highly awaited clutch of the year. The first is still awhile out yet(stupid boas taking so long to drop babies... *fistshake*).

But... I already have plans for Lila's next season. Provided she gains her weight back beautifully, which is usually no problem for her, she'll be breeding to George, my "almost hypo"..... he's chocolate and cream colored, no blacks at all.

But... that's just a dinking project. This one should yeild me pastels, and some REALLY pretty normals! Here's to hoping! *crossed fingers, knocking on wood, and all that rot*
