Prey size looks fine from those pics. I suppose you could hit them immediately with another small rat and see if it makes a difference. What temps are they being kept at?
How about a third option - how about bumping their feeding schedule to every six days?
Again, my personal preference is to err on the side of being conservative when it comes to feeding. What matters is that they are growing and putting on a healthy amount of weight.

Alright Ill try both options. The caudling after eating a rat makes me feel like he wants more right then. Temps are 100-105 hot side 80 cool side. Humidity 50-60%
Thanks for all your help man. You have ben a great help. I agree and I didnt want to powerfeed them no matter what.

They are great to work with. Never refuse a meal even if they are in shed. Both of them have shed and no issues so far!
