Were not saying the anaconda and African rock python would have successfully had healthy babies. No one ever said they would or could, Casey just wanted information about it.
I'm not looking for a huge thread, we just wanted to show RC members that owner of the snakes and Casey was telling the truth. |

no the eggs were not planted...this was the only large snake that bred that season, cus he runs a zoo not a breeding program. And this one was with an anaconda. NO I dont agree with cohabbing them both, but he has been doing it for many years like it says in that post. I can say I would put money on it that he didnt plant the eggs

From a news article that I had read a bit ago about this hybrid stated that it was completely by accident. The owner stuck the ball into the burm's enclosure to simply clean the ball's enclosure and realized that they locked up (or vice versa, don't entirely recall). I also believe it was based in Germany.
The ballxburm..
