OH MY!! Quite the "debate" seems to have continued here on this thread. Hmmm.. Where to "jump in again here?"...

More like "shreds" it to pieces at times even I don't know about Jul's , BUT I don't even post near half of what I "run into" doing rescue on this forum entails. I actually sometimes feel the most sorry for my kids [ human ones lol] in regards to my doing rescue/rehab here. They have seen TONS more than most people would ever see in a lifetime that involves neglect, mistreatment abuse etc and the results of such in an animal. A lot of the time I have no answers to their questions as to
WHY? someone would do such a thing to a living creature either. I do know that they will grow up to be better persons as a result of being exposed to this type of thing though AND I doubt that they would EVER contemplate such a thing as breeding burms due to what they have seen taking place in regards to them in rescue also. Well prepared future herpers I guess they shall be too. [ They're actually already there I think possibly.. nm the future part.]
One could never be able to fully relate to reptile rescue until they have spent a day with the following

emails and calls for at least 5 other herps needing rescue/rehab. Of course 2 of them are HUGE burms ya know !
That was off of one of my daily tracking cards from about a year ago here....UGH.
Try and decide just who gets your attention first of the above..remember that you have ALL of them at the same time in rescue/rehab. When your done picking up the pieces of your "broken" heart you may try and decide
As anyone could see, those of us that get fully involved in doing rescue/rehab with reptiles have any reason to even think that yet another HUGE burm is going to wind up in rescue due to someone "wanting" to breed them. We have our hands full allready so to say Just imagine ALL of the reptiles that get passed over and die off cuz a rescuer didn't get to them in time also. Some of those actually get euthanized due to the fact that they are HUGE like as in a burm That would be due to there not being a TON of us whom deal with them in rescue/rehab for a multitude of reasons.. Size being the main one btw.
[i] So suuure , go right ahead and breed us some more burms just to make sure that those of us doing rescue full scale NEVER see an end to this sort of thing...UGH.

Hmmm.. Donation huh ? More like enforcement for the continuance of burms within the pet trade and also a replenishing supply for the husbandry that keeps em coming into rescue
OK.. Off my rant now ....
OH AND Kevin ?? I'm a gonna get ya into rescue at some point this year ya know hehe. We need rescuers in your local
