Re: So much for having a hide in there
I took most of the hides out of my ball python rack. The only one that uses hers regularely, is my late '06 het albino girl. The rest? They just chill out on top of them, beside them.. under the paper towels, anywhere but in them. So now I have a bunch of extra hides I've cleaned up and disinfected that I've no idea what to do with just yet. *strokes chin* More snakes, perhaps? Heh heh heh..

Re: So much for having a hide in there
I've got 14 balls and most are in racks. I always offer each of them hides and I've noticed that it has to do with the personality if the snake. The more dominant snakes never use them while the passive ones always use them. Each tubs still gets a hide though; if nothing else I feel that I am enriching their environment by providing texture and a bit of an uneven surface!
