Wild Caught Ball

I've had someone recently ask if I could take over their wild caught ball python, who's been in captivity for a year, said he was treated for parasites when he came into captivity, what kind of risk would him being around my other snakes??

When introducing any new snake into your collection, whether wild caught or captive born, always have a quarantine period of at least 30 days. Why does he want to get rid of it? If there is any way of taking it to the vet first would be great....maybe he is sick? I would also look at the source of the snake....is he a friend of yours? Does he know how to take care of snakes? If you are satisfied with his husbandry, and you stick to a quarantine, you should be fine.
