I love Bloods too. Was it a full grown adult, juvenile or baby? Full grown adults are just so big because of their thickness. Either way, aren't they just wonderful creatures? I love em.

Yea, my male has settled down quite a bit and my female(pictured above) is just a sweetie. I would say that the reputation they have, like all things, does not hold true for the entire population. It really does depend on three things: gentle handling, smaller enclosures and the individual snake. I think Bloods are nervous creatures by nature and so require really gentle handling and smaller enclosures to feel more secure. Anyways, thanks for the comments.
