Re: Kobi's 1st Rat!!!!!!
I would just maybe go a tiny bit bigger, or not. Just do what you are comfy with. I feed my snakes every 7 days, on Tuesday. So that means tomorrow is feeding time.

Re: Kobi's 1st Rat!!!!!!
That's cool. Kobi is such a little pig though, 7 days would be harsh. I will get her there eventually but right now she needs to eat since she grows so fast.

Re: Kobi's 1st Rat!!!!!!
Every 7 days is good enough, you don't want to pack them full too soon if they haven't fully digested their previous meal. She'll grow quickly enough.

Re: Kobi's 1st Rat!!!!!!
Well the consensus is 7 days I think. Like I said, I have been feeding her mice every 5-6 days (depending on whether or not feeding day falls on a sunday), but I am planning to stretch it to 6-7 days (" "), eventually getting her on a regular 7 day schedule. Because of the nutritional value, I am not worried about her health at 7 days, but instead that she is searching for food by day 4 after feeding. Again, she is a little piggy. I barely get the mouse (rats now!) over her feeding bin and she is in strike position.
