Temp question
Hey
I am going to be getting a jungle carpet this weekend, and right now i am in the process of setting up the enclosure. I just have a quik question. I am using a heating pad to heat the cage, and the floor temp above the pad is 92f. Will this povide enough heat. The ambient temp is just above room temp becuase theres a screen lid. Should i put something over the screen to raise the ambient temp, or is a 92F basking spot of belly heat enough for the carpet? I know carpets are semi arboreal, so i'll proably need to block off the screen, any suggestions?
