Butters the Ball Python DUW
So there had been this add on craigslist for a good two months straight, for a 400 gram pastel ball python boy and a big normal female that needed a new home because their owner was moving. Usually morphs on craigslist around here only last about a day, so I figured something had to be up with it or something, like maybe it was a scam. Anyway, last week the add changed a bit, moving day was getting closer, and the reason that the snakes hadn't been placed yet was because the owner wanted them to go to somebody with experience, and a lot of snake knowledge. I've always had a soft spot for pastels, and we have 3 empty Matrix racks, (the entire racks, not just individual shelves, lol!) so on a whim, I sent him an e-mail and told him that I had other snakes, and described their enclosures, and how I only feed f/t, and he called me back a few hours later, and we picked them up that night!
The female (Betty!) is having a bit of a shedding problem, so I'm trying not to mess with her very much until she sheds next, but I took a few cruddy flash pictures of the pastel. We named him Butters, he's gorgeous, HUGE, and has the sweetest disposition!
I think I lucked out, what do you guys think?
