When I first bought my ball, back in January I was told to feed him outside the tank in a feeder box. I did so and he had a hard time feeding in the box. So after alot of reasearch I finally just decided to feed him in the tank, I use newspaper for substrate so it is not a problem. He is one healthy happy snake.
As far as feeding in the enclosure for most ball pythons that is the way to go!!!!
