Wow, I have never seen such a brown on a tree boa, well, besides amazon tree boas. I think I might actually prefer that to the green! I hope the new color looks just as pretty.

This is a green tree python, not a tree boa. It will eventually turn all green with presumably some blue and I don't know what else. This is the oddest change I've seen. Usually they lighten in color first and then go green. This one never got lighter. It's still the same chocolate brown that it was when I got it. Here is pictures of one of my other GTP that was a red neonate. This is the normal way they go thru change:
