My girlfriend and I are now looking for a male to go with our female Borneo Short tail. I'm so excited, we arn't planning on breeding yet. We are a few years away from our female being sexually mature so age isn't important. I am lucky to have found a woman who shares (somewhat) my passion for snakes and the beauty they hold.

Thats awsome how do you like bloods so far? I have been looking at them and borneo's seem the be the ones that get the largest.

my friend has a blood very quiet and kinda lazy but its a great snake is yours the same? and also how big should a 2 y/o be?

My Princess is two years old, three foot and just under two pounds. I have only had her for about six weeks and she is great. At first she was very deffensive, and still is to my girlfriend, but has never struck at me outside of the cage. I took her to the vet for a check up and she is now getting over her RI and gainning weight. The vet said she was a little under weight so I have upped the feeding schedual to help her along. I wont lie, she was a little devil when I first brought her home, but she grew on me. I have been in love with bloods for years, and enjoy the interacting with them. From what I know about borneos, is that they stay smaller than the rest of the bloods. You know this snake will never be draped around my neck, but she is an absolute joy to keep. I have a ball that loves to "hang out" with me anyway. She is over four foot and the first snake I ever owned.
