Heating Question
well a uth be just fine to heat a 10gal cage with a ball pythin in it.if not tell me what else i need.

It might be or it might not be. If you live in a tent in the Rocky mtns...No. What is the room temp where you are? Even still, it's going to vary by draft, celing fans etc. You just have to set it up and read the thermometer and adjust till it's right. You need a warm side in the mid 80s and a cool side around high 70s-80ish.

well they always soy 90-94 degrees on the warm side and 80-85 on the cool side know is this temp reading taken from the floor of the cage or in the middle of the cage.also please tell waht you use to heat your cages with and if u could please show pics.

90-94 was suggested by people that probably checked the weather in Africa where some ball pythons live but failed to check the temps in the burrows where they spend the days avoiding the heat. If you want your snake to eat and be happy, don't bake it.

not keeping it so hot? you need a lower wattage bulb than whatever you are using or if using an under tank heater get a smaller one. what care sheets are you checking for the info?

seems to be a good guide from skimming to go by.
