Considering a ball python
I swear, herps are so addicting. I started with an anole and now Im looking into getting a snake. I asked around and a few people suggested a ball python because of theyre tempermant and size. I'd like to know what the appropriate size for an enclosure is for a ball python. If I aquire a baby, a 20L will be enough until it grows a bit, correct? Any help and tips are greatly appreciated.

they grow so slowly... my girl is more than a year old and she could still stretch out full in a 20 gal.. still spending the extra 50$ could save you the trouble... I'd just save up a bits and get a 30, that will last 'him' his whole life probably... or for like 6 years lol... anyway yeah bps' are the best snake to start with... much better than cornsnakes.

I have 2 Balls (no comments please) Pythons and I love them!!! They are great to handle and fun. My kids love them too (ages 2 and 3) and handle them (with help). I would have to agree that they are a lot more fun that corn or king snakes.
