Just Another Day with the Gang
Today was cleaning day and a few of the boys and girls got out for awhile to stretch their coils.
The first one here is Gromit. Gromit is a juvie and a real sweet heart. He is showing why he's a ball python
We took the two bigs girls outside for a stretch. It was their first time out since giving birth this last winter. It was a good day for them. That big momma on the bottom and big bertha is on the top.
The next photo is of big momma sneaking through the grass. She's bringing a new meaning to "a snake in the grass".

I just love their little personalities. So shy, so curious. Very pretty gang.

I like your snakes in the grass. I put grass in their tanks as partial substrate or to increase the humidity...you just have to be sure it does not get mildewed, or have any ticks or lice on it. We do have grass lice here in the country in Jamaica, and man!!! Better not go in that field!!!! I use cut Bahama or guinea grass. They like to peek through it from their hidey holes.
I like the name Gromit, where does it come from?

When we got Gromit he came with another male Ball Python, so I named them Wallace and Gromit.
The names come from the animation series, of which I am a fan of, Wallace and Gromit.
This is Wallace when we got him.

And this was Gromit when we got him.
