austin tx, I think I might have to wait its near 90F rather wait a month than get a poor dead snake in the mail, I have $300, keep in mind I'm also buying a 30G long and overhead light bedding ect, that will come out to like 100-150... so near 150 on the carpet... I'm looking for just a regular carpet jungle I guess, but always open to pretty carpets for 150-175

(don't include shipping, I have some more cash for that)

I can't help you for finding a snake, but I'd recommend checking craigslist.org for a used tank. I got a 55gal for $30 for my new RTB. There was somebody else in my area selling a 7ft long custom made cage for under $100 also, but I didn't like the way it looked.

Here are some breeders that I trust. I am not sure if any of them will have any carpet pythons.

Casey & Darla Hulse. These two are friends of mine and I would buy from them with out even seeing the boa first.

Bob Futo
I have bought from Bob before and he has some of the best Surinames around and junge carpet pythons.

These are breeders that I have talked to but never bought from yet but I would trust them. I will buy form a few of them in the future.

Gus has some of the healthiest boas you can buy. You may pay a little more but you will get one of the best looking and healthiest boas money can buy.

Bill Gaines: I my opinion Bill has the best "Snow Boas" out there.

BASICALLY BOAS. I will be buying some morphs from them in the future.

I have never talked to Rob but I have heard good thing about him and his boas.

VPI is also down there. Don't know if Tracy has anything in that price range, but you can be guaranteed they will be healthy and great looking animals. Try Kingsnake then the BoI the breeder or ask opinions. I already sold my babies from this year. Good luck.
