How long have you had the baby?
When was the last time you fed it?

Mine was nippy at first and settled down after about a week.
He was fine until today.... he pooped this morning..... and god was it nasty smelling! He was nippy and cruising his cage like he was looking for some food while I was cleaning up his mess. I was stirring up all the repti-bark and rustling around so I am sure he thought it was food in his cage and not me. I pulled him out of the cage and he was fine.
