Ceylonese Python????
i got a PM on another site i belong to and it was from deadirish. he knows how bad i want a burm but i am to small. he sent me a few links to this kind of python. they look just like burms and dont get real big.
then i cam eon RTB and i had a PM from noncomformist (pat) and he had also PM me about these snakes! but pat said they have bad dispositions  i dont want a snake with a bad disposition. does anyone know anything about these snakes or has anyone ever had one???

looked at some breeders... prices=eek compared to burms, lowest price i saw was 350 as high as 500

An old member here use to breed them (HerpHobbiest) he told me they usally had a pretty good dispoition. Haven't talked to him in a while I'm sure he's still around somewhere.

I'm sorry, but they usually DON'T have a good disposition. Individual temperments can vary - but as a rule these are VERY irritable snakes that do NOT like being handled.

Bob Clark sells them for 350 when he has them.
I'd prefer a mainland Indian, they get bigger and are a real hassle with the CITES paperwork - but they have MUCH better dispositions.
They look more like Indians than Burms. If you saw one next to a burm - you'd see the obvious differences. Indians and Ceylonese are IMO - far more beautiful than most Burms.
