not shedding
i have a baby ball that was in its first shed he had cloudy eyes, dull skin, etc.... then i noticed the eyes were not cloudy anymore which i think mean that he was going to shed but a week and half gone eyes still not cloudy and still no shed, whats going on does he not know how to shed or someting?

shedding comes natural. it isn't because he dont know how to shed. give him a soak in tepid water for a few hours and see if that helps. check real well and make sure he hasn't shed and you just didn't find it.

lol, thats how all mine are they pretend like they want to shed then nothing then while im not thinking about it they have changed i think they are just shy try giveing it a changing room j/k i think your ball will shed soon wouldent worrie too much about it. welcome to RTB.

How does his skin look now and what is his humidity? It is possible that he has gone through the cycle and didn't shed if his humidity is low. His skin would be really dullish looking. You should be able to tell if you give him a good soaking, not enough water to go over his head, coolish (just under body temperature water), and let him soak for a good couple hours at minimum with a rolled up towel for him to use to help shed. You'll be able to tell then if the shed is retained or he just hasn't shed yet. I've never had mine (boas only) not shed within 3 days of eyes clearing up.

chance has taken a week to shed after her eyes have cleared. yes a good soaking will help.
