I just wanted to express my excitement...
I just wanted to say how excited I am that my female Ball python, Bavmorda, has finally broken her 5 month and 10 day fast last night!!! I know this may not be as exciting to everyone else as it is to me, I was doing a rather poor impression of a victory dance late last night that my wife found quite entertaining, but I am sooooo happy!! So anyways thanks for listening and all the calm suggestions to just be patient. I thought I leave you with a picture of her...cheers mates...

No worse for the wear...if she lost any weight during her fast, she may have needed to anyway lol. She's a healthy looking ball of ball python.

I did the same little happy dance a while back when I finally got one of my little guys to eat f/t. doesn't mean much to anyone else, but just makes you feel giddy inside. Fasts happen with those critters...just keep doing what you know is right...they eat when they're hungry. Way to go. |

Julius are you saying that see is/was fat? JK. You may be right about her needing to have lost a little weight. She is 48 inches long and weighs 1350 grams. She lost 150 grams during the 5 months ordeal and seems to be doing just fine.
