Requesting info on ball python

Hello I wanted to add a ball python to my collection, whats a snake collection without a ball python? Anyways I wanted to either get a large female or a baby female since the females get larger. What is the cost for a large female regular ball python? Also how long would it take for a female baby ball python to reach its adult size?

Thanks in advance,
-John

Ball Pythons are absurdly cheap. Some of the pet stores sell the babies for $15. I don't know if you want an already adult, but I would look on kingsnake for that. I can't tell you about how long it would take to reach adult size seeing as how I have never had a ball.

well i live in washington, around here they are usually$80 to $120, sometimes petco sells babies for $45 but only when they are almost dead, ball pythons need high humidity! 60-70%, i like babies more because i can work with them and handle them more, adults you have no idea how flinchy they are or if it eats live they are harder to switch to f/t and they can be really picky eaters

Ball pythons around here are expensive compared to most places. The babies usually go for aound $80 to $85. You can get them a lot cheaper other places or over the internet. I would start of with a baby, so you can work with it as soon as possible from when it's born.

Growth. They will grow to more than 3' in length within 3 years. They typically are sexually mature in 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years. This will depend on the the feeding regimen, what your feeding, and maintenance conditions mainly temperature.
