Nice lookin snake, but what kind of sobstrate is that??? Also you should probably put his/her food on something if you're gonna feed in the cage, so it doesn't eat the substrate.

Thanks man - The bedding is carefresh - The plan is to feed outside of the enclosure as I do with my Tegu's - The pics were of his 1st feeding since I had him home - I tried to feed him in a rubbermaid tub, however he wouldn't eat the mouse - I've read so much about them possibly being finnicky eaters, so the only reason I offered food in the enclosure was to see If he was going to eat for me at all. I guess he answered that question - I am going to continue pushing feedings outside of the enclosure...

balls are generally not cage agressive, so if you put like a piece of cardbord or newspaper over the bedding, it should be fine to feed him in there my ball won't eat unless he's "hiding" from me and i have to wiggle the mouse infront of his hide ... silly BPs
