weight feeding issues
I have a ball python that weighs about 1130 g and i am trying to feed it a rat that is about 230 g about 20%
Do anyone know if this rat is too big?

feed it a rat the size of its girth ( the biggest part of the snake)

I think the rat is a little bigger than her girth but it could just be the fur
|

she took down a live 175 g rat but this one is 230 g
i think she is a little tentative about it i know they judge what they want to eat by size as well as smell

please don't feed your snake live, i know you've herard this speel b4 but my sister gave her ball a live mouse and it chewed her head, luckly it wasn't bad but please belive me when i say rats can do alot od damage.
