BP doesn't eat enough
Smiley, my BP, has a clean bill of health, he's active, cuddly as can be and everything could be perfectly fine, BUT ...
Smiley refuses to eat more than once every two weeks and he'll only take one single hopper (about 10 gr, I weight them prior to feeding). I'm really freaking out, because that just doesn't seem like enough to me.
The other BP, Pretzel, same age, eats one fat weanling once a week.
Smiley doesn't look thin, drinks good and the skin is nice and smooth, it's just that Pretzel is growing like a weed (22"), whereas Smiley is still this tiny little handful (he's just under 18").
I feed both BP's f/t prey according to their girth (prey is a little bigger around than girth of my snakes).
Question: Is Smiley's feeding habit normal?

I have a Diamond Python who refuses to eat anymore than once every 3-4 weeks and is perfectly fine
As long as Smiley doesn't look to be in ill health and is not losing condition I wouldn't be to worried about it, just keep a close eye on him
Cheers,
Misky

You've got a BP that eats every two weeks?!? Congrats!
It's not terrible. If you've got everything else right, temps, etc. and it's not losing weight, I wouldn't worry much.

Okay, I'm starting to feel better! What about the size difference between Smiley and Pretzel? It is VERY obvious: They are both the same age, but Pretzel is quite a bit bigger around and longer.

Same breed, different snakes. I'm 3 inches taller, 20 lbs. heavier than my brother, and I still have all my hair.

LOL ... I'm still choking ... LOL
You are right! I'm probably getting all worked up for no reason. I guess, I'm worried for no reason.
