How In The Heck Do you Switch From Live to F/T or P/K

B/c my snake just won't do it. i have to feed him a live pinkie to get his feeding sesion started then he'll eat 3 large mice and i know all too well what live can do to a snake ::shivers:: .... how can i ween him from pinkies??? i need to get him on small rats too .....

thaw rat fully.
(after it thaws, I like to place it in warm water to get the rat both wet and warm)

some snakes are shy eaters, and wont eat if they are being watched.

if you were eating a hamburger and a 600 ft giant came and stood over you while you eat, would you continue to eat the burger? or poop your pants? LOL

My snake used to strike defensively against live rats, but just to kill them, not to eat them. Thawed ones, she eats right away now.
