Savu Pythons

Anyone have any experience with Savu Pythons?

I just bought a young one which is eating well on pinkies.

I read they are burrowers, so I have it in aspen shavings. However I keep all my other snakes on newspaper as I don't want them to injest substrate material and possibly develop a blockage.

typically a snake wont injest substrate unless they are being fed on it...which is why its a good idea to feed out of cage. I do however use newspaper as well as a substrate, for ease of cleaning. But I would not shy away from a real substrate if you feed outside the cage.
