It's on its THIRD shed this month????

Ok then...
Is it a really great eater?
Have you looked for mites?
Mites can be hard to see on dark snakes and will cause rapid multiple sheds in a short time like you are having.
Are you sure it isn't retained shed? Possibly several layers just now coming off?

And give the little guy some time, he'll shed for you soon enough.
All snakes in a given species don't shed on a normal schedule and or grow that way either.

I would think that someone who has owned 20 BP at one time or another would know. snakes shed according to different things such as growth rate, parasites, hydration/humidity. -Juggalo

I personaly havent taken care of over 20 bps, my father has, he used to own a reptile store and we used to have SEVERAL different pythons and boas, and over 20 different ball pythons, but he started to loose intrest in them or something and gave a few to me and he sold the rest of his cause there was no way i could take care of all those snakes!

Eddie-- I've treated both of my bps for mites and both are very good eaters, i've never had a problem trying to get one to feed

Cool, but still odd that it is shedding that rapidly.
Was the mite treatment very recent?
The snake could still be in fast shed mode due to the recentness of the mites.

Sounds like he is still in defense against mite mode.
Which is rapid and repeated sheds untill the irritation is gone, or trapped in the shed skin.
In the wild it works much better since they will leave the shed far behind, but in captivity, they can only go so far away.

Might I suggest setting up your own account so that there is no confussion between your posts and your father's posts. This will probably get rid of a lot of the second guessing that's been going on in your posts.

For someone who has a father that breeds snakes, you don't know a #$%^&#$%^&#$%^&#$%^& thing about them,
especially if you are posting on this site, there is information everywhere. Why don't you ask your
dad about these things, if any of your provided information is true. I'll just go ahead and say
that you and kyle are the same person and you don't know anything about snakes or reptiles in
general and probably shouldn't be allowed to own any. That all I have for the time being.
