I've talked my brother into getting a snake, basically so I can have another 1 without having to pay for it, haha. Well I already got 1 BP but I'm not sure what kind I want to get now. I love my BP an would like somethin simliar but smaller (in the long run). Do any of you have any suggestions on kinds like im looking for? If you can, please show pics too.. Thanks

A colubrid or perhaps a children's python? Perhaps a Rosy boa? I think they're cool.

LOL..a Children's or Spotted python will eat mice/rats. Blood pythons are known to be a bit nippy now and then and will get bigger than a Royal, a bit longer and twice as fat! Rosy boas are cool but can be nippy, too, just ask Alicewave hehehe. Colubrids are a good idea, too, but realize they have a higher metabolism and move MUCH faster than a Royal. They can be tricky to hold on to if you aren't used to it. Good luck...and make sure to post pics

yup roseys are a good choice. they are small and easy to take care of. there is not that much out there as far as size goes like a BP that make a good choice for a pet: bloods, rubber boas, rosy boas, childrens/spotted, burrowing pythons, and sand boas. as far as temperment there's a good many: corn snakes, BCI/BCCs, rosys, sand boas, some rats and kings, rainbow boas, and there's bound to be more, i just can't think of any. hope this helps. happy hunting.
