She eats jumbos.
If I have jumbos for her (as I've had lately) I only feed about once per month. If I feed larges, she can have 2 per month or so.
I let her grow slowly, since I'm not interested in breeding or having a snake with liver failure..hehe.
She is very healthy and strong, no fat limp snake there
I luv her

Very pretty Ball you have there. Very healthy, most balls are fat (that just sounds wrong...lol). Yours is very strong and healthy looking. Good job.

Not sure on her lenght...guess I need to measure her, hehe.
I do know that when she finally stretches out, she is loooooong...probably going on 5 feet?
Thanks for all the compliments, she really is a fun snake and I hope I will have her for many more years !!

I wouldn't doubt she'd be 5 feet.
If I could find some of the more huge ball pythons out there that don't get imported but rather sent to the food market instead, I'd love to have one of those 6+ foot little monsters. lol

I know, I 've seen pictures of BallPythons that weigh almost 6000 grams. Holy moly...
I think its just that they continue to grow as they get older. So the older ones can be really big.
The ones that are grown fast on purpose (re selling or breeding) usually end up "not so healthy" and might not live as long.

A friend of mine has a 6000 gram female. She lays 10+ eggs everytime, I think she is a little over 7 years old, she is GIANT. My 1000g males would look like neonates next to her, lol. I do not know why someone would take off 5 breeding years at the end of the snakes life for one early one, math doesn't work. Take care of your breeder snakes and they will take care of you.
