She ate - could it be that she is not gravid?

I put my male who would breed a garden hose if given the chance in with one of my oddball females and saw them going at it several times over the course of two weeks. I seperated them yesterday and offered the male food today. He refused so for the heck of it, I offered it to the female. She slammed it as soon as I put it in the tub. I was not expecting her to eat. She looked like a stuffed sausage and she still ate. I haven't had a gravid female eat for me before. Is she just hungry or is it possible that even though she shows signs of being gravid, she really isn't. I REALLY want her to have eggs so I can line breed and prove her so I am really bummed at the thought that my hopes are shot.

That or she ate a watermelon! What have you been feeding that girl? LOL
When did she mate? I dont think its out of the realm of possiblities that she would eat while gravid...Certainly is a beauty though!

how big is she, how old is she, when was the first time she was with a male and you saw copulation, has she bred before, does she spend all her time basking, or most of it?

sooo many questions....

before this meal, when was the last meal she had?

She was 1918 empty before breeding. Her last meal was 2 weeks prior to being place with a male. I saw copulation many times. This is her first season breeding. She spends a lot of time basking.
Here are pics of her copulation. She was cooled and had follicles and the male had sperm plugs.
