I need to know what type of hideing place I can put in my BP tank. I did have a rock But my snake is a little to big for it. So I am looking for a good hideing place for him.

An upside down flower pot with the hole cut into the top of the hide instead of the side.

I have three in my setup. 1st is a plastic rock, then a flower pot, and third is his water dish. He likes the waterdish best, i guess because it is the tightest fit.

half logs work well. Also, I have a rubbermaid box that I keep peat moss in, for the humidity.

I have two hides for mine. One is a huge, hollowed out piece of lava rock. She has outgrown it somewhat but still loves curling on, around, and under it. The other is a simple box with one side cut out. She spends a great deal of time in it. Plus, she loves to bask on the top of it.

If you want something cheap and functional, use a cardboard box, just replace it when soiled.
I use a lot of kitty litter pans with holes cut in them.

Well i got 3 seperate hiding boxes in mine.. 1 of them is VERY simple 2 make an cheap.. Took a 20 oz bottle an cut tha top an bottom off of it.. Then used some non toxic woodglue an glued some bark to the top of the bottle so he couldn't knock em off easily but made sure he couldn't touch tha glue either.. Then i dug the bottle into the bark bedding a lil bit, so he thinks that hes underground an loves it. I also built juss a regular box out of plywood, made it small enough for him to fit tightly but not 2 snug.. Thats his hiding for after he juss ate an is too fat for anywhere else.. If your snake is rather small I got a really good idea. Take a clay pot like they said an bust it. Use a side of it (clean it first) an position it so that it makes sort of a cave, with the bottom into the bedding with the top raised out. Gives em a natural sense I guess, he used 2 love it, too big now..
