Handling my new boy....
Hey guys,
I am now a proud owner of a baby ball python...i've done a lot of research and am confident with most aspects of hi care, but am wondering how he would display anger, discomfort or aggression, and whether or not it is possible to tell if I'm handling him too much. Any thoughts? thanks for your answers!

You should leave it in it's tank for at least a few days, so it gets accustomed to it's new environment.
They will show aggression usually by puffing themselves up, hissing, or being very responsive to motion. I don't think you need to worry about that too much with a ball.

Ball pythons are great...not very aggressive unless they are w/c (wild caught)

One thing you have to be cautios with Balls is that anything can upset them and they will go off feed. It's perfectly normal for a Ball to refuse food and I just wanted to make you aware since alot of books and people fail to tell you that. Make sure he has lots of hides and it will do just fine for you. Any pics??

Hoping to take some pics today. Thanks so much guys...I have begun handling him daily and he seems to love it...especially strokes under the chin. This is my first time owning a reptile of any kind and I'm truly amazed by the bond I'm forming with him already...He seems to know whether it is myself or my roommate handling him and is a little less responsive with her (jealous mom syndrome setting in I think lol) Will enclose pics when I get them done!
