BP Housing Question
I was wondering if it would be allright to house two female BPs together. And if so how big would the enclosure have to be?

Been there done that... you might want to look at this thread that I posted not too long ago. I was doing the same thing, but had a problem with them feeding. There are some really good points why you may not want to house them together. I did get to separate cages for them and all is very well. I hope this helps.

I made that mistake once and the outcome was fatal. An unhealthy animal passed along an illness to a healthy animal. Despite numerous expensive trips to the vet, both animals passed away. I could not have felt worse. Those animals were 100% my responsibility and I made a very bad decision that unnecessarily cost one of them its life.
A better idea would be to purchase two appropriately sized rubbermaid containers and a long ultratherm heat pad. Both containers could share the same heat pad and you could plug the heat pad into an inexpensive thermostat to control the temps. Humidity and temps would never be a concern with this type of set up and the total cost of housing both animals would be less than $75.
Plus, you will have nice healthy BPs.

Hello,
If they are just BP's you can go the easy route and get some rubbermaids. 15 qt if they are babies, 27 qt for sub adults and 41 qt for adults is what I use. They only cost between 5 and 10 dollars and they are excellent at keeping heat and humidity.
