I'm gonna have to disagree Stormy, but to me that definitely
looks like a spotted python .
Children's don't have that much contrast in their pattern and are
a more 'dull' looking snake.

I would love to say it was a spotted and not a children's as the spotted keeps it's pattern much better into adulthood.
This one seems to be a childrens or at least seems to be acting like the childrens....
It is picky about it's food.... I am able to get it to eat a f/t pinkie mouse every other week and this was a supposedly captive bred snake. Supposedly the spotted are much easier to feed as baby.

The scale pattern on it's head matches that of a diagram that I found on a web site.
Here is the diagram I used.....


Who really knows though... either way it is a neat little snake! One of these days maybe I will come across someone locally that can confirm what the snake really is but for now I am happy with it [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
