Jackson new home is all done
Thought I would share some pictures of Jackson enjoying his new home. I think his favorite thing in there is his piece of cork bark. He loves it. He is really growing. He is 26" long now and eating nice plump rat pups once a week. You can sure tell when feeding day is getting close. They get much more active...searching their homes for something to eat. BP's are wonderful!!!!! Have a great evening.

Thank you Louise, He really is a sweetheart. He enjoys wrapping himself around my arm while I am at the computer. He acts as if he is looking at the computer screen to. I half expect him to reach out and try to type something. lol.....

Can you make that pic a bit larger? I can't see it very good. From what I can see that is a nice cage, Is it custom or did you buy it?

The cage is a Animal Plastics T321..it measures 36" x 24" x 12" tall. I am very happy with it. It holds the heat and humidity very well. I will try to send a bigger picture. Hope it works.

Thanks now I can see what it is. That is a very nice cage and I am glad to see the thrmometers in there,2 at that. That ball will love that room he has to roam. I really like the animal plastics. How much do those cost shipped?

I guess I go overboard, but I have three thermometers in the cage..One over the hot area, one over on the cool side and one to measure the ambient temps. I got the cage with the belly heat and a light and it was around $240.00 shipped to me. The belly heat is controlled by a Johnsons thermostat. It is doing great at holding the humidity. I have ordered 2 of the 421D's from boaphile...One for my other BP and one for a BCI (high orange) that I won on the new years contest from another forum. They will each have their own Johnsons thermostat to control the bottom heat too. Since the AP is 12" shorter in width, I am hoping to be able to stack the 2 boaphiles and put the AP on top of them. My husband is going to build something to put the cages on. I will send pictures when it is all done. I haven't got the boaphiles yet. should be here in a couple of weeks. When they are set up I will have the baby BCI sent to me. I can't wait to see him!!! | |
