enclosure ?

I am gonna buy a baby coast carpet python and Have a question. I have a 20gal breeder that is empty with this turned on end would this do until I build a bigger cage? My plans are to build a 6tallx4widex2deep how long should the snake be before I put it in an enclosure that big. I also have an enclosure that is 4x2x2 that I could turn on end for the snake. would it be ok to put a baby carpet in a 4x2x2.

I would say yes as long as there is plenty of hinding areas via fake or live plants and other hides to but ask someone that has a carpet python they could tell you better

No need to turn it on it's end. That just makes a mess out of things and a baby carpet can make do climbing around in lower perches for awhile...He'll be fine. Oh...and PLEASE chill with the ?????????? in the title.

what about as the snake get bigger should it have a taller than longer cage or is a 6tx4lx2d cage fine how much are they gonna climb as they get older

well, I messed up. I took my son and wife to the lps to show them what kind of snake I want and all of a sudden they both want snakes now. My son wants a corn snake and my wife wants a kenyan sand boa. what size tanks would hold those 2 for the remainder of their lives.

P.S. Good thing I didn't take my daughter too.
