My new baby
Went to my first ever reptile show and picked up this beauty. I named her Disco. How long do I let her settle in before handling/feeding? I always wanted to get a ball. Amazing how much Petco charges for them when you can get a better animal at a show for a lot cheaper.

best to let your new baby settle in about a week with no handling. then it is okay to feed and handle. just make sure you wait 48 hours to handle it after it eats. congrats on your new snake.

Aw, she's lovely! Congrats and good luck straying from handling her. I hate it but it is necessary!

I think she is settling in well. She was out cruising around the tank last night. Sitting on the edge of the water dish. Trying to push up the tank cover. And she even pooped on the cold side hide. LOL

I don't know if it is true or not but I've heard they like to feel comfortable to poo. I've never had a new one poo during the break-in until at least after they ate. A friend just got a new one on Tuesday and she actually ate very well for her as soon as Friday night. Make sure to give him the break-in time and you'll have a great relationship soon enough.

Disco out cruisin
Just found out from the breeder that he is a live feeder. Great just great. I didn't have any problems switching Myth to frozen. What problems can i expect with switching disco to frozen?
