First Rat
Hello,
Well, after three days of trying, Monty took his first small rat. I didn't want to disturb him too much so here are the best pics I could get.
There were a couple more images but imageshack wouldn't resize them, sorry.
Enjoy!

Hello,
Thanks. I hope he starts to grow a little more... . It took him a while to take it. I guess he just wasn't used to the rats scent.

Congrats on him taking the rat. However, that rat looks awefully big for him. Who knows, it could just be the picture, but the rat shouldn't be larger than the widest part of his body. Powerfed animals live much, much shorter lives.

Hello,
The picture makes the rat look much bigger than it actually was. The rat was probably 1.5 times his girth which left a nice lump when he was done.

that is so true about them growing when you start feeding rats. my ball when i started feeding rats about a month ago has grown about 2 1/2" and has also become very round. good luck in the future.

yea my bullsnake grew three or four inches in the first three weeks of eating rats. the previous owner was feeding her hopper mice so she loves the rats. she could take them once a week if i gave em to her because she always poops two days after a feeding of a large meal, but i keep it at once every two weeks.
