Danger is my python scared?

on the ball pythons enclosure is a sliding glass door, every time i open it, he curls up slightly, he doesnt look like hes happy about it. hes fine if i have him out. he looks for heat sources and hes fine when i carry him. is he ok or wot?

so please rtb.net PIMP MY SNAKE, lolol!

Well of course the vibration from the door opening is going to shock him a bit, especially if he is a slightly jumpy snake to begin with. He'll become accustomed to it eventually. However if he stops eating you may need to stop handling him as much. But like I said, he's just being a snake

Talking hi

yeah im keeping handling to a minimum. but i've learnt i need to change his substrate, thats gonna take a while, so i'll need to do that with caution. yeah hes fine though when hes out he licks my hand and stuff, doesnt really freeze or anything too drastic like. will changing the substrate freak him out? its for health reasons like.
