HI I AM JUST TRYING TO GET FAMILIER WITH THE SITE, SO I THOUGHT THAT I WOULD POST A COUPLE OF PICS OF MY BALLS. MIDGET IS THE FEMALE NEXT TO THE SODA CAN AND THE ONE IN MY HAND IS MY MALE HISS. It looks like that substrate is cocunut fiber like Bed-a-Beast, Forest Bed, or Eco-Earth. I never thought about using it with a ball python. It holds moisture well and my pacman frog loves the moisture and humidity it holds.
