he is eating 1 small rat every weeks in fact in that pic he just ate! i think its just a pic mess up on the bent looking tail but i am going right now to check on him he just ate today so u dont want to mess with him too much!

Ya, I just don't see why it looks like that. I would still bump him up to a rat every 5 days for a while. He looks to be a bit thin

How old is he? He just looks to be showing his spine more than he needs too. Never mind, I looked at my picture and he looks to be well rounded. Maybe a bit thin but not as bad as I thought,

I fed my ball every 5-6 days til he reached about 2 feet but I'm not sure how big this ball is. I am probably wrong though

Also I would suggest getting a proper hide. I would think that, that helmet wouldn't give much shelter.
