ball python shedding

Hi, I just got a baby ball python about 3 weeks ago. Saterday I noticed that he had blue tints to his eyes, so I figured that he was going into shed mode. Each day after his eyes got a little more blue so I figured he would shed soon. I put in a humidity box and the humidty in there has been about 80%. and overall in the cage its been about 70%. I figured if I raise the cage humidity too high it might be too much with it being 80% in his box. Anyways ever since I put it in there he has been in it. I have only seen him come out once since he started staying in the box but he could have come out again with out me knowing.

My question is how long does it take them to shed? Its been 4 days since his eyes first turned blue and I didnt think it would take this long. I have given him warm baths to asisst in the process also. Today I took him out though and his eyes were greyish more than blue. Is there a reason for this. Also will his body become whiter as his shedding becomes closer. Because right now it looks normal I can only see a little difference on his very bottom sides
Any comments would be appreciated! I hope that he isnt having any problems. Thanks!

he will eventually go out of the blue stage, then he will shed. after he gets out of the blue give him 1 to up too 7 days. so you have a little while longer.

I usually have a pretty simple routine that I use.

When mine goes into blue, he'll stay like that for about 2-3 days. Once out of the blue for 3 days (making it 5 or 6 days total), if he hasn't shed yet, I will soak him for about 30 minutes in lukewarm water. He usually sheds that night or the next morning. I keep his humidity from 55 to 70% during this time.

Try that out.
