Cage size for adult Bloods!!!

I was told a 4' by 2' is good for an adult but I was wondering personal experience and oppinion. I saw a 5' female on ks that eats rabbits!!! Those things are impressive. Anyone keep them? I know they can be agressive and usually are but I am wondering more about the care rather than the temper.

AKAchris. is on a distinguished road
thats a good cage size or maybe a foot longer would be ok, my frien specializes in bloods, andi think he uses 4 x 2 for others he use 5 x 3 or 5 x 2 so it depends on you and the snake really ?

about the aggressive part, some are mean and some are nice, i've seen very nice and ver easy to handle and very mean ones.

if your in the market for one i would say your best bet is ben siegel, one of the best breeders in my eyes.

WeissChoice will become famous soon enough
4 x 2 is no where near sufficient~! IMO that is~! I've kept my share of bloods and I breed Borneos...I keep ALL my adults in 6 x 2 enclosures. Bloods can get up to 8 or 9 feet in captivity...not very likely, but it has happened. Bloods/Borneos love hot and humid enclosures as well. If you get a blood, make sure it is a neo/baby and you won't have any problems with it's temper. The scary thing about Bloods is that they are abnormally strong compaired to their body size/length. Though Bloods have a very girthy body size and are very heavy, they are super fast. Easily the best snake I have worked with though~! Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks for the info on bloods. I am getting one as soon as the weather improves to ship via Delta Dash from NERD. Kara has picked me out a beautiful female. I can't wait!! She said the same thing about their temperments. They are fine if they have been handled and worked with since they were babies. I am just so excited, hope this week warms up a bit.
