Baby ball python, "Jackson" is doing great
My new baby ball, "Jackson" is doing great. I want to thank everyone for the advice. He is settling into his new home wonderfully. He has plenty of hides and a nice bowl of water. He has come out the past two evenings to explore. The day I got him was the day he was used to eating. He ate a f/t mouse with no problem. I was surprised at how fast he struck at it!!! Here are a couple of pictures of him and his first meal with us. Thanks again. I have learned so much from this forum. connie |

I think he is going to be a nice lil guy!! I haven't handled him yet, but form watching him he seems to be rather mellow. The only way he will ever see my little rosy and corn is to see their cages from his... I know of someone who kept their two little rosy boas together....even though I told them that it was NOT a good thing to do and they sould be seperated. One of the rosys is missing....and the other one looks fat...It is a shame people won't listen when you try to tell them something...Snakes should not be kept together in the same enclosure. Now he believes me. To bad one of the little guys had to be lunch for the other one to make him believe me.  I will post more pictures when I can get Jackson out and handle him. Thanks everyone!! Connie OH...I remembered my other question. What do the numbers mean after someone puts their name at the end of a post. It lists their snakes and some numbers with it. Sorry, but probably another newbie question.  |

It's indicating the sex of the snakes and type of snake. Goes like this...
1.1.1 would indicate 1 male, 1 female, 1 unsexed
0.1.0. would be one female, no male, no unsexed for example or you could just show a lone female ball python as 0.1 ball python
male....female....unsexed
Some folks, like me lol, just drop the last number if they have no unsexed, whether they are adults or juveniles.
